Father’s Day is coming up on Sunday 18 June and the SAB World of Beer has put together some fun packages to delight dads of all ages.
“We have a number of beer-related activities you can do with your dad,” says Tony Rubin, general manager of the SAB World of Beer.
“You can opt for a beer tour only, or couple it with a beer tasting either before or afterwards.”
An added bonus is a tailored Father’s Day menu on offer in the Tap Room pub overlooking Newtown.
Tours begin at 10am and run until 4pm. Options include: a dad’s special of R130 for a tour and beer tasting (regular price R160); a beer tour at R90 per dad (usually R105 per person); beer platters at R225 for two or R450 for a family of four. Beer tours include two beers and a commemorative glass per person.
The SAB World of Beer Father’s Day specials apply to fathers only. All other guests pay normal rates. Under-18s are not permitted to consume alcohol during the tour or while in the pub.
